Launch of the New Article Series: Japan’s Nuclear Future with Amir Afzali

　Japan NUS Co., LTD (JANUS) is pleased to announce the launch of a new article series, Japan’s Nuclear Future with Amir Afzali, in collaboration with Amir Afzali, a recognized expert in nuclear safety, risk assessment, and regulatory affairs.
　As electricity demand continues to grow with advances in artificial intelligence and digitalization, while energy security and decarbonization remain key priorities, the role of nuclear energy is receiving renewed attention. In this six-part series, Mr. Afzali draws on his extensive international experience and professional expertise to explore the future of nuclear energy in Japan, focusing on topics such as safety, regulatory modernization, and risk-informed decision-making.
　The first article, “Why Japan, Why Now?“, examines the changing energy landscape surrounding Japan and discusses the growing importance of nuclear power in meeting the country’s future energy needs.
