Regarding the possibility of an information breach through IIJ’s services

April 15, 2025 – Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ, TSE Prime: 3774) informed its customers, including Japan NUS Co., Ltd., about a potential external breach of some customer information related to their enterprise email security service, “IIJ Secure MX Service.” (Please refer to the following link for the official announcement by IIJ: https://www.iij.ad.jp/en/news/pressrelease/2025/0415.html )

April 21, 2025 – IIJ updated us on their findings, stating that there was no evidence of an external breach beyond “domain names” and “outgoing/incoming mail servers (IP addresses and hostnames).”

April 22, 2025 – IIJ announced the number of customers whose information was confirmed to have been breached. (Please refer to the following link for the official announcement by IIJ: https://www.iij.ad.jp/en/news/pressrelease/2025/0422-2.html ) .
IIJ also reported to us that Japan NUS Co., Ltd. was not among the customers whose information was breached.

Moreover, according to subsequent additional reports from IIJ to us as of April 25, 2025, no information leakage beyond what was mentioned above was confirmed.
