英国政府、CCUS Cluster Sequencing ProcesのPhase 2の次段階の対象となる20件のプロジェクトを公表

選定されたのは、英国のノースイースト、ハンバー、ノース・ウェスト・イングランド、北ウェールズに位置するプロジェクトです。
政府の資金提供の対象となる可能性がありますが、政府の支援を受けるプロジェクトの最終的なリストではなく、これらのすべてに資金が提供されることを意味するものではないとしています。

英国政府は、2021年にHynet ClusterとEast Coast ClusterをTrack-1 ClusterとしてPhase 1に選定しています（バックアップとなる予備クラスターとしてScottish Clusterも選定）。その後、2022年3月には電力部門CCUS、産業用炭素回収 (ICC)、廃棄物、及びCCUS 対応の水素プロジェクトを選択して、Phase 2のデューデリジェンス段階に進んでいました。
