アメリカ船級協会（American Bureau of Shipping (ABS)）は、造船所、船主、事業者と協力して開発した船舶向けCO2回収の要件を示す文書を公表しました。
船舶向けCO2回収の要件には、船舶向けCO2回収装置の設置に対する準備レベル又は準備状況に基づいた船舶の任意の性能証明（Ready notation）も含まれています。
